Abstract
This author, an Anglican priest and master’s student based in Cape Coast, reflects on how the TWP, which linked Ghana and Jamaica, alerted him to parts of his own Ghanaian history of which he had been insufficiently aware, despite having visited sites like Cape Coast Castle as a young student. This experience changed the trajectory of his master’s research, as he identified the need for West Africans to reassess their varied participation in the Transatlantic Trade as well as their willingness to contribute to the clarion calls for transatlantic reconciliation.
