Abstract
This poem uses the occasion of tree-planting ceremonies by TWP workshop participants in Jamaica (August 2024) at neighbouring theological institutions (St Michael’s Seminary and the United Theological College of the West Indies) to creatively reflect upon ongoing divisions between Catholics and Protestants. She creatively uses the term “Untied” as a visual and auditory play on the word “United,” drawing readers’ attention to the reality that these neighbouring seminaries are not, in fact, united; hence tree planting ceremonies on both sides of the fence.
